The non-revenue trackage looks like a comically out-of-place streetcar line.It's also weird the way the tracks turning from Topflight to Edwards were laid with the curve fully across the street rather than following the centreline. Don't like that look actually.

The address numbering is different in Dufferin and Simcoe and I assume their dispatch systems are too. The highest number on Airport Rd. in Peel is 19, 054, and the lowest in Dufferin is 933,003.

I suspect this is one of the reasons Crombie and McCallion before wanted to separate from Peel. Regional roads have lots of rural-style signage and excess sign clutter such as prominent freeway-type signage pointing to every golf course, motel, and piddly little attraction. Being in an RM...

The only numbered roads in Hamilton now are former highways. The regional roads are all gone. As for Highway 7, it could be signed as a "connecting link" through Peel and York.

"Hwy 5" is now mostly-urbanized eastwards as just Dundas St. so it's a regional arterial road issue, not an MTO one.

I hope Mississauga would do that as keeping buses on the transitway would disqualify any Line 5 extension along it as a "subway". Those stations would have crazy wide platforms though with the platform lane becoming part of a widened platform if that happened.

Renforth station is more like Pioneer Village than VMC though. I wouldn't really see the line as extending into Mississauga per se.
