I think the towers are pretty good, and I like the height on that side of the skyline (balances things out more). I think the podium is trash and if the street level treatment was better, this project would be much better in my books.

They need retail on this. If they're going to tear down some historic buildings for it when there are parking lots in the area, at the very least have some retail.

Maybe it's just me, but would love to see them recycle the historic facade and build a condo on top... Toronto does this a lot (some rather successfully, some in incredibly tacky manners). Would obviously prefer them to get rid of a parking lot first though, but so it goes.
