    Next Mayor of Toronto?

So.. I'm running for mayor. I'll give you more subways.. after I cut taxes and ask the Ont. Libs and the Feds to pay for everything the private industry won't. Vote for me?

    Next Mayor of Toronto?

Looks like moving to TO is out of the question if Ford wins. *dramatic* ...hmm Vancouver? I'm sure.. like what most people are saying, it will just be 4 years of nothing. World Pride and the Pan Am Games.... can't wait for Ford to represent Toronto and Canada. Yay.

Its the only way we can stay on this forum! I don't enjoy concrete buildings.. like some on here who think glass is bland, I feel concrete is even more bland. There are come concrete buildings that are gems.. but mostly I feel they are just too cold. But on the upside concrete buildings are...

I was staying in Yorkville this weekend and I must say, I love the Crystal. Its so unique and completely different than what you normally see. Everyone has seen an 'older' building, glass tower, concrete(ugh) but this just felt so fresh. Also the fact that there is such a "love it or hate it"...

East Bayfront: Bayside (Waterfront Toronto/Hines/Tridel, Pelli Clark Pelli et al)

Oooo thats a pretty good jab at Toronto! I hope this project goes at a good pace. 10-15 years seems like a long time for the size of the community.

I don't think Toronto has the money to add a cultural cherry to ever piece of the waterfront cake. But I want to ask this: What does this area need to satisfy everyone? (Please don't say cafes)

I'm with taal on this. I don't really think "cafes" are the cornerstone of the urban environment or we must have a cultural icon in the centre of every community. Its going to be a beautiful neighbourhood with retail, dining, public spaces, social and private housing. And by no means do we...
