    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Precisely. It could have been extended later on. Going forward transit lines should be done in phases. The enormous size of this project is leading to a lot of issues.

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Is it possible that MX is suffering from the effects of nepotism? Too many people in upper management, with no construction, rail or engineering experience, but were promised high paying/ low effort jobs for political favours?

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Considering the amount of work they're doing on the western extension, that would be a very concerning scenario. This project would go down as one of the biggest waste of tax payer dollars in Canadian history. Can we just "re-do" this line? Rip everything apart and go back to the original plan...

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

Metrolinx should squash the rumours and provide an update.

    Oakville Toronto | Gemini Condos (Oakville) | ?m | 10s | Castleridge

Something is finally happening at this site. An excavator was dropped off today. Will grab photos later.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

Exhibition station will certainly look better once the Gardiner has been rehabilitated. Hopefully there's plans to put some proper lighting under the highway, close to the station.

    Ottawa Transit Developments

What an absolute disaster. If Alstom's accusations are correct, to think that perhaps the tracks were not planned and laid down properly, curves too tight, etc. What a major oversight by the supposed "rail experts". Ottawa will be stuck with slow LRTs for the foreseeable future until something...

    Roads: Ontario/GTA Highways Discussion

https://www.insauga.com/highway-410-in-brampton-ontario-could-be-widened-residents-asked-to-weigh-in/ "On May 29, a public information session will be held in person at 4 p.m. in the auditorium of the Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre (1660 North Park Dr.) to generate feedback on a project...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

I brought this up earlier in the Davenport Diamond thread, and the prevailing response I got was three tracks wouldn't be necessary. Not sure I agree.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I've tried moving closer to work. But everyone is asking for over $2000/month for a 1 bedroom. My current rent is $1300 per month.

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

I've only been flying domestic this year out of terminal 3. I'm not seeing any long lineups like I did pre-covid and during covid.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I always take the GO train when heading downtown.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I live in Oakville, but work in Brampton. I could take transit, but it would add an hour to my travel time (one way) compared to driving. Losing two hours a day is not acceptable in my mind. I can't move to Brampton because my rent would easily double. Negating any costs savings from not owning...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

I drive a 2015 Honda Civic, which is paid off, and it certainly doesn't cost me over $1000 a month to own it. Probably more along the $500-$600 range. That's including annual repairs. Plus as @turbanplanner pointed out, it allows me to get to a job that pays me more vs not having a car, taking...

GO Transit: Construction Projects (Metrolinx, various)

So we're talking about the possibility of express trains running to & from King City? Is there space for a third, centre track through Downsview?

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

I've departed from Pearson four times since the start of this year. Security, baggage have been relatively quick. I asked one of the CATSA agents why everything seems to be running so much smoother/faster and she said it seems like fewer people are flying this year. This seems to be the case...

Toronto Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport | ?m | ?s | Ports Toronto | Arup

I used to fly with Porter to Halifax out of BB. But now that Porter got the new Embraer jets and flies out of Pearson, I can't really see myself ever using BB again. I could be wrong but it felt like the Embraers got me to Halifax quicker than the Dash-8s.

    Toronto Toronto | Crosstown LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx | Arcadis

And so why would that mean slower trains? Help me understand please. Aren't the C-trains in Calgary also governed by a signalling system? They seem to go fairly fast.
  19. B

    Finch West Line 6 LRT

0:25 You can clearly see the buses travelling faster than the LRV. That's at the intersection of John Garland & Finch. No stop/ station at that intersection.

    Multiplexes

If someone was interested in renting a unit in one of these multiplexes, is there a site they can visit? That is to say if these are rentals.
