I thought that part of the point of the grass is to give a place for people to sit and lounge. Certainly I see the berms used very heavily that way, and it doesn't seem at all like an abuse to me.

I was down at Harbourfront this weekend, and noticed that the LRT cars are running on pantographs. Is this a relatively new thing? I wasn't aware that any Flexities (Flexitys?) were using pantographs in service.
