Whether or not the Eaton Centre store has beefed up their Genius Bar availability (which in my experience doesn't seem to be the case), it's still a subpar experience going in there at nearly any time of day - almost impossible to get help, and in summer the HVAC really struggles to keep up.

So what do you consider the "downtown core area"?

That would be a welcome change from all of the illegal parking that usually accompanies construction sites (and that the TPA often turns a blind eye to).

It doesn't help that there's a giant fence blocking off the development from the street. I guess any resident who doesn't exclusively drive in/out has to walk along the edge of the driveway.

You don't have to go outside even with the passage closed - you just go down to the lower levels. But yes, the passage would be somewhat more convenient.

Definitely won't work - if only because of the condo-type ownership structure of all of the units down there. It would be very complicated to buy them all out and likely would take years.

It's planned that the York/Bay/Yonge ramps from the EB Gardiner will be removed.

Not in the tower portion, but there is a row of stacked townhouse condo units in the rear that will have units on the ground floor.

Thanks for the photos. That corridor through the under-construction Sun Life Tower is going to be very austere - especially considering they plan on having it open in about a month!

How is the address on Strachan? Or is this just a convenience address for construction since it references the entrance to the exhibition grounds?
