Dineen Building This might not be brand new, but The Chase and Dineen Coffee Co have signs up in the Dineen building storefronts at Templeton and Yonge. A UT article from last August had identified the cafe to be a Starbucks-to-be. Wonder what happened, and glad it's something unique too.

    Best Buy

No Best Buys in Ontario are closing. The only Future Shop in the GTA closing is in Erin Mills Power Centre, in the Dundas big box corridor. http://www2.macleans.ca/2013/01/31/reports-of-best-buy-closures-across-canada/

Another expansion announced by Ivanhoe Cambridge, but maybe, it's not as high profile a mall as Vaughan Mills: It's a $230M investment, which is almost triple Vaughan Mills, and closer to Sherway's. http://www.newswire.ca/en/story/1103061/oshawa-centre-to-enter-into-new-era-of-shopping...

Also, I can't see Vancouver having more than two stores in the market, or more than one (maybe two) in Calgary or Ottawa. Nordstrom will have several more stores in the GTA (at least one in the core). For comparison's sake, Chicagoland, has 4 Nordstrom stores and 7 Nordstrom Rack stores.

Queen West G-Star Raw is moving into the old Xbox space on Queen West. So I guess no Microsoft store... A&W is opening where Gorilla Monsoon is (as well as the old Moe's space at Yonge and Eglinton). Banh Mi Boys reopens today after their soft launch and a couple of months of renovations.
