Wow thanks, had not seen this video not sure how I missed it. With the added bonus of the gardiner demo nice.

When are they going to give us another drone video with a nice flyover of the construction site. It has been a few months since the last video from what I can find. The map showing what portions have been excavated is great but nothing beats a flyover.

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

Wow I wish we had someone taking as many photos of the Lower Don Lands/Portlands project thread area as much as this project. Definatley some nice photos in here.

    Toronto Toronto | Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

This project is exciting and is probably the closest to a Montreal gathering place boulevard/walkway that Toronto will ever get. This type of project is what we need more of, gathering places for people. There should be like 4 or 5 of these types of developments spread out throughout the...

Waterfront Transit Reset Phase 1 Study

Have they ever considered one way traffic like in Hamilton. That way they can still have 2 lanes of traffic if not possibly 3. Not sure if I am a fan of the La Rambla design, because the one side of the street will get much less foot traffic then the other, and that will affect retail on that...

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

Wow for someone living in that area or someone who drives there a lot, that is quite the transformation and more to come. It's amazing what the difference is once an elevated highway comes down, it's going to look quite nice in a few years.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

That re-design looks amazing, finally Toronto is on the path to having a world class waterfront for all. Just would hate to be on that end when they take that section down to reconnect to the DVP that could take some serious closures for sure.

Roads: Gardiner Expressway catch-all, incl. Hybrid Design (2015-onwards)

Great photos and info, but a nice aerial shot would be nice for people who don't know the area as much, showing the progress moving forward. Traffic definatley must not be nice for people who live, work & play in that area daily.

    Toronto Toronto | Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Wow wouldn't that be amazing. I agree unfortunate part is for a company to move it costs a lot of money, I believe it would be a worth while investment for Toronto to pay for the move but in the end I don't see anything like that happening at all.

Thanks, will have to check that out, we are mostly there on weekends so I am thinking that is mostly during the week.

    Toronto Toronto | Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Figures I guess. Thats unfortunate because it definatley takes away from the waterfront and with the way it looks to locals and tourists. Shocking really because I was quite disapointed in the walk along the waterfront, revitalization is well overdue and that is a serious understatement. Thanks...

    Toronto Toronto | Queens Quay & Water's Edge Revitalization | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

Is this forum where I would find out if they are planing anything for in front of Redpath factory on the waterfront. We were there a couple of weeks ago and walking along the waterfront is such a zig zag walk its almost silly on how you have to walk to the main road to go around Redpath and even...

    Mississauga Toronto | Aquanova Condos at Lakeview Village | ?m | ?s | Greenpark | Sasaki

I would have agreed with you but according to another post above they have removed the canal part of the design, now it for the most part seems like any other community, with a little more flare. With the canal would have definitely been a nicer/different community but now not so much.

    Toronto Toronto | Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto

Well that sucks. It's unfortunate it could not be completed for the summer months at least July/August people will only start to enjoy in the fall. Bad planning for nice new park if you ask me. At least they have a schedule now I guess.

Toronto Toronto | St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Boy oh boy Toronto, they have continued to make this mistake over and over. You are right it's sad this was not kept, would have been better than what is current. I just hope that this new building can bring everything together and make that area nice and exciting.

    Toronto Toronto | Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

Does anyone know the aticipated completion date for this project. Would it be ready by next summer possibly? They seem to be moving along really nice. Can't wait for this project to be completed and visit, it will definatley be one of my favourite areas I would think after completion.

    Toronto Toronto | Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto

A beautiful water fountain like the Berzy park one would have been nicer hear than just the luv pond. But either way I can't wait for this to finaly get build was in that area on Saturday and it's sad to see the way it looks now especially with summer, would have been nice to have completed it...

Toronto Toronto | St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Wow I like this report, Faneuil Hall Boston is really nice been there once would luv to see something like this. The problem with Toronto is it's afraid of shutting down streets to pedestrians, to design and implement something nice you have to be bold and be prepared to not please everyone...

Toronto Toronto | St Lawrence Market North | 25.3m | 5s | City of Toronto | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Excited to see this building finished but just wish it resembled a little bit of the architecture of the building behind/royal bank building and wish they made some kind of nice courtyard. Either way looking forward to it.

It's also been a while since a new drone video has been released, hope that happens soon showing the progress of the construction. And sure the anticipation for the remaining bridges is high as well. Can't wait!
