Perhaps the city should consider exactly what it is spending our tax dollars on. Regardless, city, provincial or federal there is only 1 taxpayer, and I've been seeing a lot of waste at all levels. Spending should benefit the most people period.

Why, there is no need/demand for that station at present. It may be useful for city staff working at Westwood, but that would be for 2 trips in the morning and 2 in the afternoon. The station should be powered down, and the train overhead de-powered to save wasted energy and be green

That would be a great idea, access to to the LRT and from what I've seen 121st will no longer be active once the Yellowhead is finished... maybe even tie in a new bus depot too using those westwood city lands.
