I'm not surprised by this idea, but I am surprised by the proposal of Port Nelson. Are there any more official sources on this? It just strikes me as odd; is it worth the trouble to set up a new port at Port Nelson now vs expanding the port at Churchill? I know Port Nelson was in contention...

If Twin Brooks doesn't want the station, maybe we can do something different, and maybe this is dumb or stupid but hear me out. We put the station that would've gone to Twin Brooks, dead centre over the Henday, and sure we provide a pedestrian bridge to Twin Brooks and a south bridge too...

Even if faregates aren't installed at every station, if the stations that have faregates require you to tap to leave as well, then it will charge people who had entered a gateless station and didn't pay there. This would be relevant for people that disembark downtown.

I'm fine with phase 2 being purely residential, but I do hope that phase 3 gets a few CRUs since it's right next to the station.

If they do decide not to build the Twin Brooks station, I hope at least the track alignment is constructed as if they were going to build the station anyways, so that it's not a whole ordeal to add it back in later.

As a nearby resident I feel that just having more development, more people and and a general improvement in the "vibe" of the area due to an influx of more residents will be of a much greater benefit to the community than enlarging the park would be. I'm looking forward to new apartments...

Yeah sure but that ain't "peak convenience". I don't live northeast of the station, I live northwest of the station, so walking to save-on from the station requires an unpleasant detour on foot.
