If both setbacks were at the same height, I'm pretty sure there are those that would be saying that it's too symmetrical and they should have varied the setbacks.

Aura did add 3 floors. It was 75 floors when that drawing was done. Now it's 78.

There are not enough of them to worry about! And they wouldn't have to search for very long to find a 13th floor.:-)

If only 1% of possible buyers will not buy a condo on the 13th floor, the builder will skip the 13th, since that will mean he'll have 1 more prospective customer in every hundred prospective customers. Makes financial sense to me, even though it's a bit silly.

I wonder if that's the estimated registration for the top half of the building (there will be 2 separate condo boards). So maybe the bottom section registration will be this year.

As someone posted earlier, the build up of ice was caused mainly by the open concrete floors above the finished heated floors. Once the building is clad, the problem should go away... we hope.

If Gerrard street was closed between Bay & Yonge and Yonge was closed between Gerrard & College, how did the tenants at Aura get in and out of their own homes?

I think you are right. A brightly coloured archway (or 3 archways) that sort of echo the stone arch across Yonge on the east side.

Maybe there won't be an art component since there will be a Park component.
