I think part of the reason why the layout is such a dog's breakfast is because Ryerson didn't let them implode the parking lot. If they didn't have to build around it, then the layout could have made much more sense. As it is, the loading dock has to go all the way to the back wall of the lobby...

Lineup today was ridiculous -- extending all the way back to the tourism office at Union. I don't think its ever been that busy. I had to go out to Dundas West and wanted to use it as RER; didn't work out, but managed to take it on the way back. It was just so convenient. I was in Paris two...

It's now easier to reload a Presto card in the downtown core than it actually is to get one. Assuming that the Presto cards the PVMs sell at Union (and a few places elsewhere) are preloaded, I don't see why TTC collectors couldn't sell them too. The self-serve machines not selling Presto cards...

Filmed a walkthrough of the Bay Concourse before it was gone for good: The area was looking pretty derelict by the afternoon. Metrolinx contractors were busy ripping out and relocating the ticketing machines. Tenants were cleaning out and gutting their suites. Still, quite a flood of people...
