    Toronto Toronto | Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

I think that it will look rather strange being surrounded by this new and modern development that is a completely different architectural style. I think that if it was demolished it would have been more cohesive looking.

Toronto Toronto | York University: Bergeron Centre (Lassonde School) | ?m | ?s | York University | ZAS Architects

Definitely one of the absolute nicest modern buildings I’ve seen in a while.

Is that building in the last image going to be demolished?

    Toronto Toronto | 2 Carlton | 251.1m | 73s | Northam | IBI Group

It’s mediocre architecture from the late 20th century, so apparently it must be saved.

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

Well I guess we can kiss this project goodbye, at least for the next 4 years anyways.

Yeah this doesn’t seem like a neighbourhood where NIMBY’s would be out in full force, considering there has already been so much development in the area.

The ridership is so low because Canada's passenger rail infrastructure is pitiful compared to those other countries, and as it stands trains aren't seen as a viable transportation option simply because of the lack of proper infrastructure and poor service. Obviously less people ride trains in...

High Speed Rail: London - Kitchener-Waterloo - Pearson Airport - Toronto

I think ultimately Ontario just needs to bite the bullet and at least start to build a high speed rail network. This is a chance for a first time opportunity in Canada, and I think it's something that should definitely be getting more support. Slower more frequent trains would work in some...

Why do I get the feeling that if the glossy orange material had been used, people would be complaining as well?

And older people seem to be condescending towards young people, and assume things about them quite often.

I love that dark orange coloured wood with the dark grey.

    Toronto Toronto | Sixty Colborne Condos | 82.29m | 25s | Freed | a—A

I think y'all just love to hate and be negative about these types of things, but that's just my observations overall.
