This seems like an odd location for subsidized rentals when there are unlimited cheap walk ups across the city and vacant land to build new ones, and this location would be prime for some fresh lofts.

Edmonton has far too many "luxury" 1-2bdr apartments, and damn near no "modest" 3-4bdr apartments for families and WFH. Doesn't surprise me that there's low demand for the fancy stuff.

I wouldn't be opposed to the less than luxurious look of Langham's properties if they at least had 3 and 4 bdr units for families who are open to living in MFH and want to do it relatively affordably.

Despite the work, the building still looks rather shabby.

The design is irrelevant. Alldritt will never build anything. I have no idea how they remain in business, seeing as they don't seem to develop anything.

Has there been any work on the actual Camsell development? How is it that an entire community can be built around this in less time than it takes to renovate the existing building?

The entire site looks weird. Those buildings are rather far from the street. Need to see this finished with some landscaping for it to make sense.

Other than being Canadian capital cities in the prairies there's almost nothing similar.

Went to Union Hall recently and wow did they mess it up good. Raising the sunken floor and moving the stage to the back where the raised areas are completely eliminated about half of the good sightlines. To even see the artist you either need to rush the stage or be 6'2". Midway by comparison is...

Massing is great. Shells look good. Really happy with quantity of glass. And, are they actually building the outdoor pool from the renders?

It looks like that entrance isn't finished yet, with some material poking out at the bottom. Hopefully something is being added to make it accessible and eliminate that step.

I enjoy looking at homes for sale, and lemme tell you, nothing seems to drag down the price of home like an in-ground pool. They must scare away buyers like crazy.

Or those of us who live ~10 minutes away by car but 2 hours by transit. AKA, most of Edmonton, even those that frequent downtown.
