Any particular reason outside of design that there would be steps on that corner? To the uninformed, it seems like an additional cost with not much benefit/value?

It gets worse each time I look at it. There's a podium on a podium on a podium. Layer cake for inspiration.

Looks like this pushes up right onto Rouleauville Square? Would be interested to see a closer rendering of how it interacts with that side.

Looks to have a couple already installed. They could have definitely added a bit more square footage up there - seems almost like an afterthought for how it is designed now.
