6 storey+ projects still don't pencil in infill, this is what people are not seeing. Greenfield developers in the city would migrate to infill if the numbers worked, they do not.

the problem with Flair and WJ is that I don't believe SFO was a final destination, it was a hub for star alliance and i don't believe Delta does a ton out of SFO.

Basically AC fully retreating on Edmonton, that SFO flight was great for Star Alliance connections.

Oh i was not aware of this restriction? what is it? How come AC doesn't have to deal with it or the path from Vancouver/Toronto doesn't need that path?

I imagine we will see WJ announce a Calgary-Delhi flight at some point in the near future. They have already got Seoul and Tokyo as Asian destinations, India has to be their next one and will be significantly used just based on recent population demographics. ACs Vancouver & Toronto Delhi...

And Houston* We get these we don’t need to complain.

I thought it was a bigger hub than it is, my apologies. But I still wouldn't mind seeing an old flight like that return.

AMAZING - is there a link of the new actual flight times?

or another major Delta hub like Salt Lake City which I believe we previously had. Calgary has 2 a day.

I think United would go to Chicago first as it would open up more options in the Eastern United States. WJ should almost be looking at how strong United Denver has been and do a flight to NYC to get the Delta network.

We already have two/day to MSP with Westjet? Seems unnecessary to have an AC flight there.

is this anti Beaumont or pro Beaumont?

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Salt Lake and JFK would be the next two Westjet flights we hopefully get to get to more of Delta's hubs.

kind of disheartening that the growth isn't meeting expectations because it definitely is in calgary. great that they are committed though.

or our managed growth allows us to maintain affordability? do you think prices will go down if you restricted keswick's development?

Agree re: IAH and ORD, but AC adding another YUL flight overall is a good thing. Unfortunately AC continues to screw us but we do, need them as offering the most flight options.
  17. O

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

YUL is a good hub to get to a lot of places with AC. Lots of American locations like Miami and then European destinations. Flair and Porter are great to get to Montreal as a destination but we will still need multiple AC flights.

I guess this is the downside of these relationships. While the status match and connections Delta provides with Westjet is great. It's frustrating to hear that they are being boxed out of actual Delta flights to YEG.

considering how full these flights are this is great news!
