It is not that surprising, though. Developers often hold back a handful of units to sell at market value near completion.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I'm not talking about poor seniors. I'm talking about wealthy ones. Part of what is driving prices up is this transfer of wealth through gifted downpayment (and other financial gifts) to children. $30T will be changing hands...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

We are in the middle of the greatest intergenerational wealth transfer in history and there is no supply to keep up with demand.

This is a great building and we love living here. The layouts are thoughtful and finishings are excellent. Soundproofing is top notch!

I think that is exceedingly unlikely. Late spring, early summer - maybe.

To clarify, what you see as the second floor on the front of the building is actually the third floor. Because of the grade, there is a small row of units on the back that is technically the second floor. You can see this on the architectural plans. As well, the rendering for marketing does...

Yes, thank you for the photos! I'm glad the window wall is black and not grey (because you never know in Toronto).

Pre-cast is pre-cast concrete. It is one of the cladding systems used in this build. What you see is how it will look. You can see the patterned pre-cast panels on the renderings.

The pattern on the pre-cast looks great! I like that they wrapped the pillars with it, too - one detail that wasn't captured on the renderings.

My husband and I have purchased a unit here - our first home - and are excited to see it progress.

If your agreement states (as they typically do), that variation in floor plan, finishings, etc. is permitted, then you have little legal recourse regarding some of the issues you've mentioned (e.g. floor plan deviation, ceiling height, door location). These are structural items that are never...
