Too bad about the height. I thought @interchange42 had had a chat with the developers and convinced them to find a way to push the roof height over 300m? I guess it goes to show that outside of these skyscraper nerd communities the "supertall" designation really is completely meaningless.

I couldn't tell if @Undead actually has inside information or was just speculating. CC3 seems like a more likely candidate to me because it's much farther along in the process.

Considering what has happened to the office market in the past year with no sign of recovery, I think both the Hub and 11 Bay are unlikely to ever get built. I hope I'm wrong though.

Interesting that they're now trying to significantly decrease the amount of office space. More and more developers seem to be doing this recently, despite the City's office retention policy. Not too hard to understand why I guess.

At only 236 meters it looks pretty small and insignificant next to all the taller and much beefier office towers.

If it looks too good to be true then it probably is. I'd say this design has virtually zero chance of being built. And not because of city planning - the developers will choose to water it down into something more economical. Still fun to fantasize about, just as long as you keep in mind that...

I wonder if the 17-storey base building will be office space to replace what they're demolishing? It could easily reach ~260m if so.

I thought this thing was approved already? Why would they submit another application for a shorter height? I think that sign is from an old version of the proposal.
