Too bad about the height. I thought @interchange42 had had a chat with the developers and convinced them to find a way to push the roof height over 300m? I guess it goes to show that outside of these skyscraper nerd communities the "supertall" designation really is completely meaningless.

I couldn't tell if @Undead actually has inside information or was just speculating. CC3 seems like a more likely candidate to me because it's much farther along in the process.

Cool. If it's not The Hub, that pretty much means it's CC3. :)

Not enough... I'd like to see another 5% slimmer and 5% taller.

    Toronto Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 345.5m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

I know a lot of people on here are still in denial about this but it doesn't make sense to me. Surveys are showing that only around 10-20% of workers actually want to return to the office full time. Most office workers want a "hybrid model". In many cases that means the company will...

Considering what has happened to the office market in the past year with no sign of recovery, I think both the Hub and 11 Bay are unlikely to ever get built. I hope I'm wrong though.

Wow so you're the one we need to thank for pushing CC3's initial 298 m design to the current 302 m design?

Also that news clip is nearly a year old - from shortly after the building was proposed, and before anyone from the City had a chance to weigh in on it. I wouldn't read too much into what that reporter said.

    MCC would be awesome.

Interesting that they're now trying to significantly decrease the amount of office space. More and more developers seem to be doing this recently, despite the City's office retention policy. Not too hard to understand why I guess.

    Toronto Toronto | 55 Yonge | 236.21m | 66s | H&R REIT | PARTISANS

At only 236 meters it looks pretty small and insignificant next to all the taller and much beefier office towers.

If it looks too good to be true then it probably is. I'd say this design has virtually zero chance of being built. And not because of city planning - the developers will choose to water it down into something more economical. Still fun to fantasize about, just as long as you keep in mind that...

    Toronto Toronto | 80 Bloor Street West | 263.4m | 78s | Krugarand | Arcadis

I wonder if the 17-storey base building will be office space to replace what they're demolishing? It could easily reach ~260m if so.

What happened to 76 and 78 stories? It got chopped?

I thought this thing was approved already? Why would they submit another application for a shorter height? I think that sign is from an old version of the proposal.
