    Toronto Toronto | Centricity Condos | 170.7m | 53s | Graywood | Turner Fleischer

Looks exactly like every other condo in the city.

    Toronto Toronto | Union Centre | 298m | 54s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

Seriously why don't they just do this? Wouldn't that make everyone happy?

    Toronto Toronto | Grand Hotel Redevelopment | 153.95m | 49s | Amexon | Core Architects

So it's not enough to wipe out the grand hotel, they have to piss on its grave too.

    Toronto Toronto | Eight Cumberland | 170m | 51s | Great Gulf | a—A

Ok, here's one from a different angle

    Toronto Toronto | 11 Bay | 269.45m | 54s | QuadReal | Daoust Lestage

So the elegant diamonds of CIBC square are going to be blocked by a plain glass box. :(

    Toronto Toronto | Union Centre | 298m | 54s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

I notice the latest design has also lost the trees/greenery on top. I guess we knew that was coming.

    Toronto Toronto | 80 Bloor Street West | 263.4m | 78s | Krugarand | Arcadis

I agree with you, except for the shadowing part. If it were up to me 266m at this location would be quite appropriate. I was merely stating how the city planners see it.

    Toronto Toronto | 80 Bloor Street West | 263.4m | 78s | Krugarand | Arcadis

No surprises there. 266 meters is considered outrageously tall for this location. I can't wait to see what happens with the 1200 Bay proposal!

    Toronto Toronto | 11 Bay | 269.45m | 54s | QuadReal | Daoust Lestage

That may be what companies are saying, but all I'm hearing from employees is "we can't stand working from home and can't wait to get back to the office." It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

    Toronto Toronto | 11 Bay | 269.45m | 54s | QuadReal | Daoust Lestage

Why is QuadReal proposing another huge office tower? Shouldn't they be concerned about getting CC3 built and leased first?

    Toronto Toronto | One Delisle | 155m | 44s | Slate | Studio Gang

Or perhaps they just aren't as "horrified" by that one because it's positioned a bit less unfavourably relative to their window at 10 Delisle.

    Toronto Toronto | One Delisle | 155m | 44s | Slate | Studio Gang

I wonder why the Cooks don't have a problem with the significantly taller proposal just across the street...

    Toronto Toronto | Grand Hotel Redevelopment | 153.95m | 49s | Amexon | Core Architects

This building is a very rare example of brutalist architecture in this city that doesn't look awful. I'm shocked that anyone would want to tear it down.

    Toronto Toronto | 1200 Bay | 326.5m | 87s | ProWinko | Herzog & de Meuron

It was originally proposed at 45.6 and approved at 30.2.
  15. N

    Toronto Toronto | 1200 Bay | 326.5m | 87s | ProWinko | Herzog & de Meuron

Any idea what the FSI density of this proposal is? It appears to be a tiny site so with 87 storeys it must be insanely high. I'm a height fanatic so I don't mind, I just think it's fun to imagine the City and community blowing their lids when they find out.
  16. N

    Toronto Toronto | 1200 Bay | 326.5m | 87s | ProWinko | Herzog & de Meuron

So how tall will the final revision actually be? 299 meters?
  17. N

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Sky | 299m | 85s | Concord Adex | Kohn Pedersen Fox

Considering that they've packed up all the equipment and abandoned the site, it seems unlikely that they're going to build it. And if they had to choose just one of their four projects to build, why this one?
