Still awaiting confirmation from my colleague on which of the two renders is the later....I do know that at time of initial sales, they did not release the "podium suites", as they were still "in design". The podium suites were eventually released in the winter. So my guess is that the more...

Residents are actively selecting finishes and upgrades. The choices are quite good. Gas cookers are standard. Also, some of the larger suites have been split into smaller ones...so the total count of units now tops 300.

My colleague contacted the sales office today to see if they had any idea about which is the more recent render...and they did NOT know. It is entirely possible that the render with the setback was an older version....interesting to note that both versions appear on the Lifetime website...

Podium Re design at x2? Came across a new image of the podium. Any idea which one is the latest?

I totally agree, this one is destined to be one of those solid, unspectacular background buildings, where the residents are very happy. I am curious about what will pouplate the street level. Any tenants lined up? I also think the disembodied facade of the former building in the courtyard is...

    Toronto Toronto | West Harbour City | ?m | 36s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

Yes, the location and interior space are important, but the overall condo experience (and its ensuing financial returns) are also tied to grand total of the impression created by the location, architecture, space plan of the suite AND the tone and feel of the COMMON AREAS (lobby, elevators...

    Toronto Toronto | West Harbour City | ?m | 36s | Plaza | BDP Quadrangle

I visited a friend last week who moved in a few weeks ago. All I can say is that this building is horribly average. The lobby looks like a throwback to the 80s , with its granite medallion and cheap veneered columns. The corridors and common areas are poorly finished - cheap dark brown...

    PSF prices of resale condos?

A unit in The Loretto, (Brunswick in the Annex) reportedly sold for over 650 psf last week. I find it incredible that Maple Leaf Square is re-selling at 700 psf! Has that been confirmed via mls, or other source?

    PSF prices of resale condos?

I have often seen 400 to 450 psf as a range. But was quite surprised to learn that there have been resales at Thornwood in Rosedale in the 630-660 psf range. (Smaller units). I am sure the larger units fetch a lower psf price. I guess the premium is due to location. There were a...

Is this proposal for midtown totally dead now? Any updates? The reason I ask is that recent resales in the Thornwood buildings are coming in at over 640 psf (inc parking and locker).

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

So we have a confluence of several factors, all of which have been mentioned in this thread at some time or another? Rising Mortgage Rates - CONFIRMED CMHC/ Federal Rules for Mortgage qualification - CONFIRMED Rules for investors made more stringent, with twenty percent d/p required - CONFIRMED...

Just Beautiful...gives me chills...the only thing I do not get is the decision to put those orange panels on the podium...they were also on the model. I find them distracting.

One Bloor East Condos (Great Gulf Homes) - Real Estate -

Hoping that some kind soul will post a pdf of the building features, and of course, the PRICES. (And yes, the mods can then move it to the RE sections...)

Agree with Tewder. Now that we have a full reveal, I am pretty impressed...having set myself up for abject disappointment after the first partial renders were revealed. The podium is very dynamic, as are the elevations. The balconies are a bit fussy for my taste, but I like the waving gesture...

Article: Number One Bloor Rendering Officially Released

Ok, now that we have a full reveal, I am pretty impressed...having set myself up for abject disappointment after the first partial renders were revealed. The podium is very dynamic, as are the elevations. The balconies are a bit fussy for my taste, but I like the waving gesture of curtain wall...
