I've lived and/or worked on or near the 124th Street area for nearly two decades. While its improvement has not been measured in a straight line, it's generally a much more vibrant street than it was 15-20 years ago. It's "getting there", and hopefully will continue to "get there" over the years...
Powerage has called it quits, for reasons I'm not privvy to. All I can say is that it's a very big loss for 124th Street. They really filled an underserved niche.
I walked by the other day and the townhouses on the northern edge look like they have a lot of interior work left outstanding. It looks like they're finally doing some landscaping and prep work for the walkways to each unit's front doors, though.

It's almost as if we shouldn't let bogus crocodile tears from the UCP about unfair tax hikes against so-called "job creators" get in the way of logic and reason.

I have to credit Boessenkool, as well as Thomas Lukaszuk and Chris LaBossiere, for speaking up and taking a stand against Smith. Rajan Sawhney, on the other hand, should be ashamed of herself.
