Forgive me if this has already been covered... http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/rob-ford-documents-suggest-widening-crack-video-investigation-1.2584692?cmp=rss "Toronto police travelled to Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., to hand deliver the phone."

From the CBC: http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/rob-ford-documents-suggest-widening-crack-video-investigation-1.2584692 On May 16 and 18, 2013, Lisi attempted to obtain a "digital video recording or recordings" and a missing cellphone by means of "threats, accusations, menaces or violence"...

I think Lisi's misunderstanding of technology and who actually owns it when it is in use on a device could be the undoing of a lot of people...

A separate investigation by Toronto police also determined that five firearms allegedly smuggled into the country by the accused were recovered at crime scenes in Toronto and Peel Region. Read more...

Police state they believe Lisi’s phone may provide evidence that others were involved in trying to retrieve the video...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Because imagine the commotion if Rob was found exchanging envelopes with Lisi using a city owned vehicle...? Further to that - "Expectation of Privacy" when using a City owned vehicle is "non-existent". Maybe the Bros. Ford did this "Free Escalade" gift to RoFo as a strategy - not as a gift...

More importantly is whether or not his driver is a City employee? What is the liability and duties tied to a City employee driving around a private vehicle. If he is a City employee he should be accountable for HIS whereabouts at all times - no?

They measure the exclusion zone for all signs - permitted (approved) or not - from the edge of the roadway. Private property or not - doesn't matter. Only exception of any consequence are Realtor signs and they have strict size restrictions.

I sent a note to the Ministry as I'm pretty sure it is sitting too close to the 400's "right of way". Shouldn't be too surpised - we all know from the last "sign" debacle that "Ferd Nayshun" can't "spell or read good at all..."

It would appear there is an illegal sign - this one along the 400. https://twitter.com/dtopping/status/447029810062057472/photo/1

They can't be forced to no unless the trial goes "criminal".

I still wonder what the Province is doing about all this - and what their actions will be. If they counter-sue Rofo this could get very ugly and they could file a complaint with the Police (if they haven't already asked the OPP to investigate).

The worst part about this is that "THIS" cover story is the best one he (Rob Ford) could come up with... so it is kind of scary when you assess that there is a very VERY good chance that a judge might rule McIntyres claim to be true.
