    Rob Ford's Toronto

    It's actually spelled "idiumb" FYI
  2. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Just a correction, it's actually "for all intents and proposes" FYI. It's a doggie dog world out there.

Can someone set up a robocaller to telephone suburban Ford voters with his murder rant? Maybe toss in "more than enough to eat at home" too...
  4. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

It's not an activity he's referring to... it's a person. Rob Ford!

Wait… a style of music is now forbidden? What is this, the 50s?

Les Nessman, I have a question… are you writing a pulp fiction novel about the mafia? Because if not you should!

Rob Ford: 'I won't be buying any more streetcars' http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/rob-ford-i-won-t-be-buying-any-more-streetcars-1.2604360 Oh yes you will, Robbie!

    They're talking about a blog

    Rob Ford's Toronto

That's how I feel. Jimmi has never been far from the mark. I almost think of this thread as consisting of news releases, twitter links, and Jimmi T's comments, with massive quantities of wisecracking and gossip to fill the gaps between them. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I think the phrase "low information voters" is helpful here. We've talked about the "hatred of elites" vote, and that may be a factor, but it's probably a small one compared to the "don't really know what's going on, but Ford seems like a down to earth guy" vote. That's the one we need to worry...
  13. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

That's not what he said. It's a total guess. "Oh, a fire truck just drove by me in Etobicoke! There's a possibility they're rushing to put out a fire in Doug Ford's pants! There's a possibility the fire truck is driven by Batman and Robin, with Penguin manning the pumps!" The word possibility...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

I don't get why he goes from 0 to 60 so quickly. If he just waited a few minutes and spoke to some "sources" (assuming he actually has any) he wouldn't embarrass himself so often.
  15. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

That's just it… Rob Ford stands for unwarranted hatred and bigotry. That's practically his slogan. "ROB FORD: hatred and bigotry." We can't simply rise above it and take the high ground or something. He's the mayor. Every day he's out there, representing us in the worst way possible. Everyone...

    Rob Ford's Toronto

That's exactly what it is. It only gets good in here when news hits.

Can anyone recall what country Ben Johnson came from? Bumbaclot!

    Rob Ford's Toronto

You've gone a mite too far
  20. R

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Not only that, Rob Ford has set a precedent in Canada for brazen, shameless behaviour, and the longer he sticks around the more that attitude is sure to leak into the Canadian political climate at large.
