Toronto to get new football team (LFL)

I would have to disagree and argue that these are very healthy activities for both society and for our kids. They provide great exercise, they teach kids about teamwork and competition and strategy, and they provide kids with an outlet for their energies and something to get involved in. What...

So what are you trying to say then? Develop the ravines to create a greater interaction between man and nature, or leave them be as wild spaces?

Your post got cut off. Obviously you meant to continue that sentence with something like "at midnight." or "if you like slow-moving traffic."

Saying that the park "falls flat" and calling it "crap" are very different things though, no? Take a walk about a kilometer northwest of canoe landing to Stanley Park, and compare the two parks. In fact go to most any park in the city of a similar size and tell me why Canoe Landing could be...

I heard that this was because dogs were getting sick the previous summer from drinking the water which had to be chlorinated to prevent bacteria/algae growth. I have no idea if there is any truth to this.

If you're going to call a park 'crap', some justification would be appropriate. What is it about Canoe landing that is so crappy? I am really curious because I think its a great public space.

Wow... what's with the rude remarks to Steveve? From what I recall he's been very consistent with his opinion on Trump. He's also probably one of the most respectful posters on this forum and the least likely to make an insulting comment like this. Red Mars: great photo ... love the lighting

I have to disagree with you on this one Steve, or at the very least withhold opinion. I have seen the cladding in person and while I am concerned that it may possibly look cheap, I am excited that this tower will have some bold colours going for it. I have some faith that it will be well executed.

Nope. When you take a picture of buildings at an angle looking up, the lines should converge towards the middle (unless taken with a camera whose film plane can be tilted to remain vertical while the lens plane angles upwards). This means that the lines of the buildings (assuming they have...

I thought that looked like a familiar angle (just need the camera a bit higher, and voila!):

I think part of the problem is that the south side of the bridge empties into a fenced-off construction area for the TCHC Building and Parade (mind you I haven`t been up to the linear park there in a couple of weeks).

I was just trying to help clarify AG's post for you. You are making some big assumptions about who uses this site and why. I will leave it at that. I can already see that a dialogue with you will be frustrating and difficult. In any case, welcome to the site and enjoy and utilize it as it is...

I think that what Automation Gallery is hinting at is that (and correct me if I'm wrong AG) the questions you are asking are all answered by looking back in this thread and doing some basic research on the development. The forum members here are (for the most part) very helpful and...
