    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

YEG stopped contributing in 2017 to this service unless they started up again, but I doubt it. (It started in 2012). Not sure if Leduc contributes. When city was considering 747 to downtown last year they were looking for funding partners but I don't think there were any.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Hope Condor is doing OK. My friend is joining me to Frankfurt in June and his flight was $200 less than what I paid two months ago - some good deals but wonder if that means lots of seats available. We are flying back from Portugal and I was happy to get a one stop flight through Toronto for...

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

Best action is to express this on 311 and/or with your city councillor regarding 747 frequency and fares system. I take 747 sometimes and have done so, too.

    Alberta Politics

I've read several people who believe Trudeau started them. In reality, one of the main fires was started by a tree getting blown over onto a power line.

    Edmonton Oilers

If these stats were reversed you have to think the score would have been 7-1 for the Canucks - who are seeming like a team destined. Silovs has been great last 2 games and the Oilers unfortunate in several ways in Game 3, but needed to be better in the first (which is not new for them this...

So since you brought it up, what was the reason they left?

    Warehouse District Park

I didn't say there was. But there are a lot of evergreens.

    Edmonton Real Estate Market

    I can get behind that.

    Edmonton Oilers

Amazing effort by the Oilers best five players in the third - McD, Drai, Hyman, Bouch, Ekholm. Ekholm was a beast. Oilers deserved the win. Hard to believe though that we're playing against their third string goalie. Wonder if we will get more from Perry and McLeod.

    Warehouse District Park

I love pine trees in particular. Paul Kane Park is a great example of a lot of evergreens which makes it so pleasant to walk through in winter, but a nice variety of deciduous trees too.

Jasper Avenue New Vision / Imagine Jasper Avenue

Love this. Looks like raised crosswalks along the north and south sides of Jasper Ave - probably from 116 st west.

    Warehouse District Park

I would have preferred more coniferous trees if this is in fact the breakdown from the park rendering. Also not much colour in the park for a winter city.

    Edmonton Oilers

And funny letter in Journal today: Smith’s Oilers wager not in doubt I see that our Premier Smith has made a bet with B.C.’s premier, David Eby, over the outcome of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Eby must know that taking the bet is folly. If the Oilers are defeated, Danielle will just pass a bill...

    Edmonton Oilers

I guess Janmark is being bumped to top line - kinda surprising to me anyway. I'm not aware he played on the top two lines all year. So why not round two of playoffs! Maybe he will suit what's needed. Coach has switched up line combinations quite a bit over his tenure so far and had pretty good...

    Car-Free Streets

We know, we know. But just sharing info about more pedestrianized streets happening in Canada is just highlighting some new developments and I don't know that it means getting defensive and critical about 102 Ave every time. I guess some posts require a trigger warning. 😉
