When are they extending Kariya down to Central Parkway ?

It's a shame that the other structures that made up the Stanley Barracks were razed for a parking lot in the 1950's. The fort should have been restored, and we could have had an nice fortress overlooking the lake.

This has Walnut Hall written all over it. Toronto, just does not appreciate its history.

If Toronto ever gets past the Group Stage of the CONCACAF Champions League, you can bet that it will utilize the SkyDome for any remaining matches. Because playing in February at BMO would be next to impossible.

Because heavens forbid that we have two stadiums of the same size! European cities have dozens, literally dozens of stadia that are anywhere from 10,000 and up capacity. Surely Toronto can accommodate a couple.

And MLSE will spend another 800K to put in a Fieldturf field near the Lakeshore Lions Arena.

Our bicycle network could be so much better. Trails around Toronto are not only poorly marked and signed, but also in various states of disrepair. Toronto should look to Montreal as how to setup a proper bike network.

The collapse of Walnut Hall, is such a depressing story. But it fits in very nicely with all the other treasures the city has demolished over the past 60 years.

Wow, I really hope they will do something with those 6 stories of concrete. I don't understand why they did not go below ground with the parking garage? So instead of beautifying the Hurontario streetwall, they're going to get this fugly parking garage. How was this approved? I really don't get...
