The progress here is absolutely incredible...it's like they're doing 2 floors per week right now.

I was referring to the commencement of construction not the on sale date. BSN has topped out CASA has not yet...however from the inside BSN is entirely a shell still while CASA is making lots of progress inside as well as outside.

My bad, I probably should have looked back at the history here before I spoke. X broke ground only 6 months after CASA.

This building is going up with ridiculous speed. CASA has been going up at a solid pace and had a 1 year head start on X if memory serves me. Yet I can see the first tenants occupying X only 3 months later than CASA & BSN at the current rate.

I'm guessing we're at the 43rd right now or starting on the 44th. So 3 or 4 depending on it being 46 or 47 floors. But then we also have to add the mechanical as well as the hat.

Something tells me that they are going to fully furnish the penthouse units on one floor and put them up for sale at that point. A couple reasons why I think this: They have yet to put them up for sale and we're talking 6 more months until the building is done. The views in all penthouse...

I agree...despite being antsy to move into my new address...it's a total waste of money to pay 6 months rent to the builder to live in a building that's under construction with possibly no amenities.

I just received a letter from CASA in today's mail...I am a little confused by it. It is dated April 22nd and mentions that the concrete had just been poured on the 41st floor. Leading to the assumption that we may well be up to the 43rd now. Also mentioned that as of April 22nd glass is up...

When I bought (Spring of 2007) they had a "listed" occupancy of fall 2008 (which everybody aknowledged was not going to happen...they were saying maybe by spring of 09 more realistic). As far as I know that was the original occupancy all along so more like 12 months late...unless I'm wrong...

I haven't changed anything I wrote...I never said that anyone would be occupying in June or that the construction worker said that. All I said was that, according to him, June was the date the builder had given out to construction workers as the targer occupancy for the 6th floor units.

I wouldn't say the worker was all that optimistic...he was just stating the fact that the builder had stated a target for June and added as was just mentioned that its all depending that's its topped out and there's no more scafolding. I also personally feel that it will probably be late august...
