California will be staggered slightly to the West so some of the most Southeast facing units in the Tides will still have a good view... for the time being. His unit faces Southeast and he has an awesome view from the tenth floor and California will not interfere with it.

Good old utility cuts! As W. K Lis said, this will give the disturbed native material time to settle before final hard surface restoration is done. I don't know how Toronto works but in the municipality that I work for, we have our own contractor do these final restorations. We get better...

Thanks for the pics Soaris! My buddy lives in the Tides and says that they are still excavating on the California side. I guess California requires deeper footings since it is going to be at least 32 floors.
