That's what I believe would happen. Though 1 minor gripe I have (that is more just a foamer thing than an actual issue lol), is that the widening white part of the cabs would make the paint schemes look a bit wonky.

Moving this from the service thread. I genuinely do feel as though the April service changes might be finally the time we see these, now infamous at this point, cab cars in service. They all right now are in on of the Willowbrook canopy tracks, lined up 9 in a row, seemingly ready to be placed...

Perhaps, however the "Work In Progress" flag in front of 232 has me curious.

Forgot to mention, saw this interesting arrangement at the Whitby Maintenance Facility yesterday. Two seemingly deactivated older cab cars (judging by the lack of mirrors, wipers, and a bell), in front of 3 newer cab cars each.

Also, how come there are still Series VII cars in active service? I thought they were meant to be sent off to refurbishment at Alstom's Thunder Bay plant. Infact many are now repainted into the two tone MX scheme, yet still have not been refurbished.

Here is a way to potentially refine the split procedure. There could a doubleheaded 12 car train (once the supposed issues involving doubleheaders and the concrete at Union is fixed), and a secondary CSA car as the 1st coach behind the cab car. That way, once the consist splits, its able to...

Funnily enough, there is a consist right now set up like that, however the 10 car portion is also led by an old cab car. (255 leading and 253 midset)

I have thus far only seen this procedure in use on the Kitchener Line. Wonder whether the refurbished cab cars might be used this way?

From the Unifor Canada account on facebook, some current pictures of the Series VII coach refurbishment at Alstom's Thunder Bay plant.

Did you happen to see the 9 or so refurbished cab cars parked at one of the Willowbrook tracks near the canopy?

Update: Found 9 refurbished cab cars in a line at one of the Willowbrook tracks

205 has now been delivered back to GO, also to note I did not see any other refurbished cab cars outside at Willowbrook (except 202)

To be fair, there isn't much to discuss about locomotive wise. The new diesel locomotive tender hasn't even been published yet, and we only have a small preview as to what the Alstom electrics will be.

I wasn't "judging" any condition. Just mentioning something I saw.

When I checked 204 a few days ago in that OOS line, I saw one of it's disc brakes were rusty. Noticed that a lot with out of service coaches, those brakes will get rusty very quickly if not moved often from what I've heard.

In an ironic twist of fate 202 placed in front of a Series 10 cab car at Willowbrook

Since GO seems to be taking delivery of the final ones quite quickly now (201 was delivered less than a month ago), and there are only a very few left to still be delivered back to GO, I’d expect soon we will see GO finally start using them in some sort of fashion. Though who knows

GO 205 is being delivered back to Toronto on CN A450 today. That leaves only 3 (200, 210, and 213) refurbished cab cars to be delivered back to Toronto.

Are you saying this current order will replace some of the current locomotives?
