I've always found that the shop at Brookfield (BCE) Place on Yonge Street (next to the Richtree Restaurant) has a very large selection of Magazines.. Quite a bit larger than Ingido/Chapters IMO. I don't know the name of the store, but it is part of a chain.

Thats one of the problems with Cornell. There is very little retail there. At least if the stores, restaurants, cafes, businesses opened up, residents would be able to walk around to these business, instead of getting into the car and driving to the stores.

From what I understand, they tried this in Burlington. From what I heard, the design of the parking structure is horrible, with limited access and a major traffic jam getting in and out of the structure. Many people have resorted to parking illegally at surrounding businesses over wasting 30min...

The problem is that I can't even state an opinion without being called racist or ignorant.. Growing up in Unionville, I've witnessed first hand the change in the community. I've also been a victim of discrimination and racism as a minority in the community... The development of these centres...

That's the problem.. Anytime someone raises a point against an Ethnic Mall/Development, they are accused of being a racist.. I'm not racist, but I'm against the non-inclusive nature of these developments.. Sure, they will sell/lease space to anyone, but there is a lot of discrimination...

Few points... Markville Mall is inclusive and caters to all races, ethnic groups, languages etc... ie. 100% of the population Chinese Malls only cater to Chinese people. (34% of the population). So what about the other 66% of the Population that has to put up with the traffic, garbage, and...

That still doesn't justify a "racist" mall being built... Just walk into Pacific Mall and you will find blatant discrimination against non-Chinese by many of the shops there.. The rate the GTA is going, soon (if not already), all the GTA will be is a collection of homogeneous ethnic...

I hope this development never sees the light of day. There is already a major Chinese shopping centre at Kennedy and Hwy 7, A Chinese Supermarket at Kennedy and 14th and the Monster Pacific Mall at Kennedy and Steeles... In other words, there is enough malls that cater to a SINGLE ethnic...

So how do some developers get away with floorplans where there are internal bedrooms with no windows??? (That are actually marketed/advertised as Bedrooms)
