In driving by yesterday, I noticed that they seemed to be assembling yet another crane. I believe that this might be 9 or 10 now, but I could not count for fear of getting into an accident. Maybe someone else could update (the new one was yellow).

There is only one backhoe on the site and it is doing limited work these days. Last week they did some modifications to the ramp with the backhoe, but did not take it down. The ramp still takes up 1/3 of the excavation and they were working on the shoring of the walls. Rainy weather slows...

Since the last posting, not much happened at the sales office in the picture above, but in the last week or two they have begun to put up more signage on the side of this former Shoppers drugmart. There had been no other sign of any activity here since last November.

Since last post, the two buildings to the north of the site have been demolished and the hoarding extended to where they were located. The sales office has been removed and preliminary grading or excavation work has begun.

Building "F" in the drawing appears to be the former Chevrolet dealership on that Sheppard Ave. that was closed by GM and has been vacant for some time. That was Don Howson Chevrolet Oldsmobile and the address is the same.

Not much reporting on this one since November; the Robert Cox house has now been lifted and moved forward on the site. (no pics for now) Several of the stores in the plaza that is to be replaced are vacant, but at least three others are still in business (including the animal hospital).

Remember that the TTC wanted a multi story building that would include the bus terminal to the west on this site or linking to this site. I am wondering on the fate of the building to the north, 4820 Yonge; I could not find anything on the web about development of it. Here is the view...
