Evolution is a scientific theory based on observational data. Data that is quantified. Of course science should be taught to children. Sadly, some religious people are threatened by evolution and want it erased from the curriculum because it destroys some of their baseless God theories.

Faith does not belong in scientific explanantions for the creation of everything. Faith is belief without proof. We do not have all the answers but science makes advances every generation to explain the unknown. Faith doesn't even try.
