I've been to them before in Bangkok and the 11 floor flagship Tokyo store. I find it hard to leave without buying something. Their clothing definitely has a simple like quality to it, not flashy, just clean and stylish. I especially like their underwear and graphic t's the most. I'm not even an...

Is it a building code rule that mid rise residentials can't have windows on the sides to ensure future abutting developments don't interfere with views or privacy? Even if a building went up right beside it and I was living in a unit in this building against this wall, I would still...

I was thinking they might be using venner brick for the exterior bits but from the pic above it looks as though they'll be going with real individual bricks, which of course is a good thing.

I have a feeling they will be better at home. Their bullpen looks thin though, they don't seem to have many go to guys with Cecil out. And their big guys aren't coming through with big hits when runners get on. I agree about revere, he's gotta start hitting, getting back to what he was doing a...

I find it fascinating how people are so into apple stores. It's filled with tables of their product line that just repeats itself. And how often are you in the market for a $2000 laptop or $900 phone. I thought most people get their iPhones as part of their service providers contract anyways...

Really like that stucco finish. It looks like real stucco with the scratch and brown coat not that fake looking eifs that when tapped on feels like hollow plastic.

"The problem with DSLR-style cameras is they're a pain to haul around, which is why I prefer the convenience of my Galaxy Camera 2. Bonus: it's a fantastic little tablet to view UT threads :)" I'm no expert with cameras but my wife has owned a galaxy s3 and s4 phones and their pic quality...

Looking at that old photo of Skydome under construction and seeing all the massive amounts of steel used for the dome and without any cladding on it made me think of how it may look if it were redesigned with a translucent or clear cladding and to me it looks like the steel would look too busy...

Can't they put any external signage on the Starbucks or restaurant. It would add little more life to the ground level and advertise the retail better. I've seen another glass ground floor level like this with just a glowing internal display that isn't very noticeable while walking by unless your...

I believe the Rogers centre at least has good bones to work with for a reno, compared to a place like BC place which had a very plain looking stadium that needed a huge costly roof upgrade to bring it back to life, atleast skydome has an interesting designed roof to work with.

Changing the roof material to something that let's in light is something I've been thinking would be great as well. I've also thought of cladding a lot of the ugly exterior concrete in a brick cladding would definitely brighten the exterior.

That star article mentions the nimbys thinking this was too tall. It must be in a very suburban area because this building looks short and it looks to be surrounded by a large parcel of land appearing to make any shadowing effect a non issue.

I havent seen this brick in person but from pictures it looks clean but worn and faded. As long as its in good structural shape i think it looks perfectly fine like this. The new windows freshen up the building as well.

If people are buying them thats all that matters. This building will have 4 floors of retail, I hope it isnt scrapped.

Didn't your parents ever teach you to not believe everything a construction worker tells you.

I agree, that platform, which I don't know what it's used for looks like a temporary construction platform but it's seems to always be there. Such an attractive piece to see while looking up from the ground. I also would also like to point out how ugly the concrete looks on the tower. I've read...

I think a red tinted glass would of looked better. Why does it have to be red only at night? But still looks like a sleek building.

Huge surface area this project will take up. Might not be very tall but it sure is girthy.

Seems like Kim and Kanye's marriage did outlast this towers construction after all.
