Received a flyer in the mail regarding a land use application for a new development for the shopping center on 34th Ave and 19th Street in Marda Loop www.engage34avenue.com

Have we seen any renderings of the Marda Loop development by Certus referenced in that article?

I don't think any? I've noticed their social media presence is almost non existent since Courtyard 33 was finished.

Demolition may start soon for this one. Area has been fenced off.

I was referring to the big wall on 12th Ave but looking closer if it does have ground level storefront, and as mentioned some cool dynamic lighting, it may be interesting. None of the renders show a good view of the 14th Ave side. Thinking about it, something like that big wall might actually...

The poster on Calgarypuck said those earlier renderings were from about a year ago, so it doesn't look like the design has changed much (if any?) since then. It would be interesting to hear how much input both the CMLC and CSEC has had in the design. It already seems to ignore the Rivers...

Liking it more with the tarps off. Will be interesting to see it on a clear sunny day. That courtyard entrance looks a bit dark and uninviting all painted black, but that may change once lights are installed and it is fully finished.

Driving past it today, I can't decide if I like it either. Its definitely going to look different I think it may look really cool at night with interior light coming through the perforated sections.
