    Toronto in the World

Actually, Toronto does, in fact have the second largest number of high-rises in it's metro area after New York and has for quite some time.

Interesting numbers! I wonder what the power costs are for a traffic intersection with LED's by comparison.

The whole building is frightening.....pseudo art deco/brutalist in style.

I totally concur with Andrioduk. Peel off all the tacky signage on the storefronts and you'd have a totally different perspective of Yonge Street. They should have established historical conditions to signage years ago. This condo development looks like a winner in all respects

I think it's a great pad with a great view! At least the view is guaranteed with the park, as opposed to towers blocking the view down the road. I'm sure on a nice day there will be lots of activity to watch.

Comparisons to Chicago While it's great to make comparisons with other cities, particularly Chicago, Torontonians seem to overlook all the benefits they have over Chicago. Both cities have fantastic skylines unique unto themselves, however Chicago doesn't have a beautiful harbour sheltered by a...

I'm with Redroom on the original proposal, there is a lot of historical significance to the Addison Building in addition to it's architectural merits.
