I think the 14th project is actually for homeless rather than affordable housing. I’m sure someone more knowledgeable than me will clarify. Build that near a lot of rich single family homes and NIMBY opposition is inevitable regardless how small it may be.

Finally 14th street is getting some attention! Hopefully this starts a trend. There are so many large underutilized lots along that stretch. Car wash, auto glass, NAPA. Not really befitting one of Calgary's best neighbourhoods. Looking forward to seeing some renderings!

Speaking of re-urbanizing Kensington Rd, is there any realistic way to "fix" the south side of Kensington Rd west of 14th? All those single detached homes with their backs to K Rd. It's always frustrating driving past them.
