July 2 - A rebar steelworker's nirvana:

July 2: Occupancy of the north tower has started, been underway for a couple of weeks (south tower occupancy started a while ago). The Widmar sidewalk itself looks to be ready, however work on the townhouse frontage is continuing. Still some missing cladding at the top of the north tower.

July 2 - Almost, but still not quite all finished on the exterior. Getting this last little bit across the finish line has been taking forever.

July 2 - Finally, after several months of what appeared to be no activity on the QRC West Phase 2 project, signs of life from the tenant fit-up contractor on the site: Queen Street Doorway: Portland Street Entrance: Construction equipment inside on the ground floor:

July 2 - Progress at 369 Queen Street West seems to be quite slow, and no one appeared to be on site today.

July 2. Some interesting work going on at the south-west corner. Sections of concrete pump distribution piping were being lifted out of one of the shoring holes. Apparently, concrete is not poured into the hole from the top, but actually pumped down the piping directly to the bottom of the...

July 2 - Building exterior looks complete. The second photo shows a very last touch underway - the protective covers of the Toronto Hydro lines are being removed along the Adelaide Street frontage of the building. Hopefully the final lane closure barriers can then be removed.

July 2 - Occupancy proceeding while finishing touches to the exterior are underway. For a building of its size and prominence, the main entrance still feels on the underwhelming side. Juliette windows: Richmond Street sidewalk - complete with trees planted. Portland Street sidewalk...

June 27 - mid afternoon: A rebar nest column being lifted and inserted into one of the pile holes on the south side of King Street. It's long.... On its way down:

For all intents and purposes - yes. Just some final clean-up going on this morning.

To clarify - from my perspective at least - venality wrapped in communications and messaging just obvious easy pr blunders that make no sense.

June 24: Construction activities along the Front and Portland street levels of Portland Commons are continuing. Also visible in the photos below are a number of shipping frames with building facade components - hopefully this is the shipment of the outstanding items from the original supplier...
