I wasn’t sure where to post this but wow this edit of 109th Street is beautiful.

Are there any "Fake Buildings" In Edmonton?

In the video below, "Fake Buildings" are buildings that on the outside look like normal buildings such as a house or apartment block, etc. However, on the inside, they are used to hide an electrical substation, tunnel ventilation or water pump, etc. Now my question is, does anyone know if there...

    Edmonton | Valley Line LRT/ Valley Line West | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

I don't want to sound like a fanboy, but RM Transit commenting on Valley Line is cool.

Nice to see Valley Line West coming along nicely.

    Southgate Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Ivanhoé Cambridge

It would be a shock if the Bay is not paying its rent. The company considers the South Gate location to be the flagship location of Edmonton.

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

Unfortunately, I am aware that this is a fictional map, but Alberta would benefit much from this High-Speed Rail Line. I love the idea of Prairie Link's original vision and the potential for an expansion to Lethbridge. Source:

Mill Creek West - Beljan - 3 storey - Redevelopment

Sometimes, that is all a building needs.

Does anyone have any updates on this project?

    Edmonton | Connect Centre | 56.3m | 16s | ONE Properties | DIALOG

I have to disagree, my pick is DOSC.

    2013 Edmonton's Future LRT

This picture is nine years old and nothing in it has been completed. If Edmonton was located in Europe/Asia it would have been completed five years ago. Side question, is Festival Line still being planned to be done? I would assume that would be the next stage after Valley Line.

I'm surprised this thread was not made before

    Capital Line LRT

South Gate Station needs a pedway connecting the station to South Gate Centre. There is an escalator right where the entrance could be. It would make it much less tedious.

    Edmonton | The Quarters Hotel and Residences | 280.1m | 80s | Alldritt Land | KENNEDY

It looks perfect. It's going to be Edmonton’s Empire State building when it's completed.

    Upper Vista Towers | 108m | 33s | EverTrust

Every time I take the LRT and pass that area, I’ve always wondered if anything was being planned for it. It's nice to see something is being planned to potentially happen there.

EllisDon to Lead Prairie Link High-Speed Rail Partners - Edm-RD-Cal

In your first paragraph, you stated that you don't have a “backwards mentality” and then you brought up how it would be better for the environment to create an automated car network. The irony.

    Federal Politics

How likely is this to be true?

Which tower do you hope moves forward next???

Without knowing any backstory on the towers and going based off appearance alone, I’m going to say 101st Tower. I’m a sucker for large skyscrapers and it’s aesthetically pleasing.

Which tower do you hope moves forward next???

Being on the younger side (I was Born in ‘98), hearing about The Edmontonian on the news when I was little was where my love for Skyscrapers developed so I would love to see it built. Even though I know it’s never going to happen.
