I wasn't thinking about this originally but will prob get the overhead lights in both rooms, just in case though I'll prob end up using lamps........I'm debating of whether or not of turning the den into a small dining room (le corbusier unit) so a small chandelair may be an option. What are...

I'm not sure about the actual details This was a very loose indication but gives a sense of the pricing out on the open market. Yea I expect the builder to come in around $2K for approx $700 sq ft

I'm not sure about the prices of the possible upgrades from the builder. I got an indication from a contractor approx $1K to smooth out the ceilings. Depending on how much GG charges, this could be worthwhile, I would be willing to wait a week to move in if the contractor goes to town on...

I'm thinking of doing two things: 1) despite the huge headahce and hassle of switching/selling./moving appliances, take their black appliances and replace them with better ss appliances 2) thinking of hiring a contractor to scrape off the stucco ceilings after moving in and smoothing out the...

I'd say it'll take 10-12 months for it to top out, after which the curtain wall should be half way up, I think first move in would be around 16-18 months from now

Is parking for a condo essential?

I think the issue here is that developers did not even offer parking units to 1 bedroom apartments. Typically, only large 1 bedroom or normally 1 bed + den and larger were eligible for parking.

Is parking for a condo essential?

Thanks everyone for your replies! Realistically, I'm looking at selling at least one year after occupany so still 2.5 yrs from now. Even if I don't make money on the parking spot, I'd rather have it as my own rather than rent it from another owner. I currently do have a car so I will need...

Is parking for a condo essential?

Hi Everyone I have an opportunity to buy a parking spot at my pre-construction condo, located at bloor/jarvis. I have a couple of reasons as to why I want to get it: 1) so I can park my car and not pay rent to someone else 2) convenience 3) makes resale easier Here's a couple of my...

I spoke with the X sales ppl and take it with a grain of salt but they have 30 units remaining of suites available for sale. I believe there are a handfull of units that have not been released. Overall sales have been very solid, 90%+ but I'm glad to see that the project south of it is not...
