From the looks of it, the Peel School Board wants to build said new high school right next to the community centre. The light purple area in the conceptual site layout is the proposed location for a high school that is intended to be finished by 2027.

The "rear" backs onto a trail, which itself runs right along Lake Ontario. This hides the garages from the trail and lakeshore. They're also set back from the front doors, so they're less of a centerpiece of the front profile. Looks good to me.
