I’m entertained by the notion that they put a pedestrian overpass for the convenience of transit users rather than to get them out of the way of the 6-lane expressway that lies between the stadium and the station

Sneak peek of the new Hyundai Rotem trains, I like the screen placement

No noticeable progress from last pics, just another angle, love love love this project’s presence in the area; I’d say this is one of the most relatively transformative projects I’ve seen (in Edmonton) in my lifetime in terms of urban form and neighbourhood maturity. More of this everywhere please!

    Warehouse District Park

Fair but I’ll reiterate, a super central bathroom that’d be great to hang out in has been empty the dozen or so times I’ve used it, it is genuinely super irritating

I’m basing my hope for this because my former high school apparently just made the main washrooms gender neutral but kept urinals in stalls. Also, people who use urinals sometimes tend to treat toilets as urinals which can make for a pretty unpleasant experience for those who need to use the...

    Miscellaneous

It’s certainly unfortunate, however we do have many lovely post-war bungalows that don’t happen to be right along main thoroughfares.

That reluctance is 100% reasonable, I’m optimistic in hoping that urinals, like the toilets would be in full-length locking stalls

You’re probably right, I just anecdotally have not seen many do very well in this city and am worried they won’t get enough water since that’s usually the issue

On board with trees but cedars? Lost cause, such sensitive little trees

As a Belgravia resident I get to see the “Belgravian” newsletter; you all should’ve seen the tear-jerk/anti-density bs they had running about Metro 78

I really just don't see total false equivalencies as good points. I can see the perspective that the city should do something about the incidents, however the immediate finger pointing that always happens toward the city and its partners (transed) when for years the information on how this line...

“Not fixing the signals and signs along the route after all these crashes would be the equivalent of not fixing all those piers in which cracks were discovered last year.” Has Gunter EVER had a good take? Like even just once?

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Edmonton

It’ll make transit users feel less like second class citizens! I see that as a problem.
