    General Infill Discussion

I’d love if a developer took inspiration from this beauty in Jasper. I don’t think there’s much like this around since it’s sort of mountain-y but I think it’d fit into a mature, tree lined street really well

The western half isn’t really visible but it looks way more finished than what’s shown in that pic

I don’t understand him. As my councillor, I’ve agreed with a good lot of his stuff, but this is such a weird thing to be so adamantly against. And he provides absolutely no city run alternative. Or just says “but high level line” as if those are even remotely comparable. The bus service is...

It 100% is London Drugs, was at the 51 Ave store talking to an employee about what’ll change when they move about a month ago.

While I agree that the Reno>40th Ave station, that’s not the case. Tons of Ainlay and Louis students use the LRT everyday. That being said, the walk from Southgate Station to Ainlay is 5 minutes tops. And there are 4 bus routes that’ll also take you right there if you don’t want to walk. Coming...

There’s probably no point getting up to 60 just to slam on the brakes cause there’s a considerably sharp turn not too far ahead

I think 124th used to be called Edward Street so that could justify something like Edward’s End or Edward’s Village?

So I drove along 66th today from the Whitemud to Mill Woods TC and they had the arrival screens on. I didn’t catch a picture but I’ll try some emoji art to show what it looked like: Destination. 🚋 Destination 🚋🚋

    City of Red Deer Updates

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Capstone pretty much a complete redevelopment of that industrial area?

Sorry not trying to make an enemy of myself in this group with that absolute novel of a comment, I respect all your opinions greatly, I just think we could use more Edmonton positivity.

    Edmonton | Valley Line LRT/ Valley Line West | ?m | ?s | City of Edmonton

Everyone in Edmonton thinks Edmonton is lame cause they’re stuck in an echo chamber of constant complaining and dissatisfaction, comparing anything and everything to somewhere they think is better. Personally, I couldn’t care less about the Churchill connector being mediocre. If it accomplishes...
