^The towers you've shown as comparable are all stumps and 99% of people would never even know they are there. The Gehry towers are much nicer than any of those especially with the cladding, height, and 3d look they have. The original 3 amigos toilet paper wrapped design was never going to...

Doesn't surprise me. This will an iconic project that will have every tourist snapping pictures from all angles. There will be a premium to own in these towers. To get a nice 1 bedroom unit on a higher floor with a decent view you'll be spending over a million.

Im sorry there are no towers in Toronto or Canada for that matter which resemble anything close to these. If there are, they are too short to have any presence/significance and I guarantee the materials will be way different. I think this project will be iconic.

This will be Toronto's first 300m tower. Pinnacle has done an amazing job with their timelines, and execution. While it's sad the Sky Tower won't retain the initial design, I still have confidence it will turn out better than average.

So does this conversation have any relevance for construction to begin in the near future...or is it some fantasy plan 10+ years down the road?

At least they are adding EV chargers. Im happy the builders are doing this now.
