CIBC Square is gorgeous, I don't see green at all. The glass really reflects the environment, it can look different shades of blue, metallic, black, clear, etc. You're the first person I've heard that doesn't like it but each to their own!

We are so very lucky to be living in a city that has this much going on. Imagine how bored we would be living anywhere else (save NYC and maybe Chicago). Toronto by far is where all the action is right now. It's been going crazy now for 10 years and shows no sign of slowing down.

It hasn't been 300m for a LONG time, when they last reported earlier this year wasn't it 274m? That's like 900ft tall. Still decent in my mind. Has it since dropped shorter again? Where did the new pic come from?

I just looked at the render, the crown is exactly 5 stories. So no 5 stories in an office tower is not 30 feet, more like 60-70ft.

Even still, that crown will add a surprise 70ft+ of extra height that will only add to the final product.

Hindsight is 20/20. They probably could have stuck with the original heights, maybe 300m was too risky for them at the time. I think they could have easily gone with 275-280m though with very little risk. Given that tower 1 is 100% leased and tower 2 is already 80% leased (or maybe its full now...

Lets see how fast this thing sells. If they managed to sell enough units in that generic boring first phase, I see no reason why they can't sell this one. It's visually much nicer, and as a buyer I would want bragging rights saying I own a unit in a tower like this haha.

That's epic! Such a modern looking tower. It's going into sales next week, should be interesting to see how it sells.
