By the time you have to close on this, the interest rate will probably have dropped. I'm guessing closing in 2027 or 2028

Wow it's busier than I thought for something that has opened for 2 days!

Went to check out Lulu Bar that just opened yesterday on Wellington street. It’s the first bar/restaurant to open on the North side. Already somewhat busy. It’s a bit smaller than expected.

I like the grid pattern, it's very urban London-like. Nice from the architecture perspective, I'd just never buy or live in another Lanterra building

    Toronto Toronto | KING Toronto | 57.6m | 16s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

The forms look impressive. Super curious how cladding will complete the look. I'm sure it's going to look nicer with cladding, whenever they source it...

Westbank also had a response to this, I think something to the idea that this is common for every developer to have liens from contractors and we're fine (paraphrasing)

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

Still in Toronto but some other projects look way better, PJ Condos, 19 Duncan, etc. etc. I think it's just this developer doesn't care to contribute to architecture skyline views. Just the cheapest bare minimum to get money

I went to the Arcadia Earth yesterday and met the owner Craig about his vision and passion for the art and sustainability for our planet. It was a very cool VR multi sensory experience and educational show. We spent 2 hours there. It is a permanent location that they brought over from NYC and...

Out of the big stores that are open, Shoppers, Indigo, Structube, I think they're all open after 6PM Sweat and Tonic is a wellness center so it should probably be open late The Arcadia Earth thing as well They're really a bit behind for the Retail stores this Xmas

    Toronto Toronto | Love Park | 3m | 1s | City of Toronto

I always thought this pond idea was not practical but got attacked and called strange for a differing opinion It's costlier to maintain an artificial pond park compared to a natural one, when the city is underfunded and has no budget So I guess plans have changed and no year-round pond?
