It is an unfortunate and sad state of our economy. These boring corporate chainy tenants are the only ones that can afford the rents here I bet. No small creative independent stores or restaurants can. And Riocan also probably prefer the stability of the old boring Scotiabank over others.

It may not be your cup of tea but it could be for others and contributes for the liveliness of the Entertainment District. Choices are good. I don't like Mexican food but I'm glad there's alot of them around the city, even I don't go to eat there
