I was just looking into this project and I see that the city of Mississauga website says its still "in progress"... are there any updates to this project anywhere else?

Maybe I'm just too pro-urbanism, but I just don't understand how the city of Mississauga has the gull to act like density and increasing the housing supply is a very important thing right now, while also throwing hurdles in the way seemingly all the time. I read this article about it, says the...

Haha no no, I wasn't there. I would have been in support of it!

Man no problem. I really like the architecture on the Arc. Really cool to see the empty fields again. I live in the area and that's all I knew until this development came around. Thank you for posting that.

Wondering the same thing... I have a feeling this whole thing is going to look way different. I thought I read somewhere that the MZO also allowed for some changes to the planned public realm areas but I'm having trouble finding it currently... I was really looking forward to this whole project...

I wonder how different this whole project is going to look from the renders we have seen for a while considering the MZO was granted for twice the density

I appreciate the information, thank you... so basically it's really far out from now

I've been trying to find some information on this project online but I'm not finding much... anyone know what the deal is with this? Will it be happening or is it just like a theoretical idea at the moment?

Is there any official opening date for this park by any chance? I'm dying to go visit!

Question for the users on this thread: I saw Bonnie Crombie mention in a news article about her displeasure about the MZO that this would affect the "Rangeview" development, but I hadn't heard of that, nor do I see a thread for that Here's a website though: https://rangeviewmississauga.com/...

I used to have a friend that has 6 cars at his home. He lived with his parents and extended family members... while I'm not friends with him anymore, I go by his house sometimes and still see those 6 cars sitting in the driveway. So as crazy as it seems, it does seem to happen sometimes

I don't understand how the city of Mississauga has outwardly stated that we need to build more density, has committed to it and whatnot, but then rejects this project and the one across the street. And for the same reasons that you would hear from NIMBYs no less... and I can sympathize with some...

This area always feels like an afterthought in terms of development... very disappointing they've dropped the rooftop patio. Who is to blame, Cineplex or the mall ownership? I guess the pandemic situation just threw it to the wayside

    Toronto Toronto | Galleria 01 & 02 | 92.65m | 29s | Almadev | Core Architects

I never really used the community centre but I kinda grew up a bit in the area (stayed at my grandparents place during the day when my parents were at work, before going to kindergarten)... I have fond memories of that community centre and its architecture. I really like this whole galleria...

    Mississauga Toronto | M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

I don't mind the look of the renders for M3, but kind of interesting how M1 and M2, being shorter, are the more "out there" buildings in the group of MCity... you would think the tallest one would have the most bold design
