Very nice surprise walking back from lunch today... Transcend Coffee has opened up a pop-up shop in the bay that Grizzlar was supposed to occupy. They are operating there until their new permanent location (in the new Beljan project on the SE corner of 124th & 106th Street) is ready around...

I agree. (Frank) Oliver does not hold the exclusive rights to the name Oliver. I think the push had the right intentions, but feels like an overreaction.

The land purchase they announced on Wednesday was at Michener Park, so I would assume a project very similar to this one.

Should be an announcement tomorrow on a new piece of land they have purchased and are planning their next project on. Must be eager to move that cash around.

I have no clue what the asking lease rate is, but I would assume that is not the largest contributing factor here. This just isn't an attractive spot for a new business. The heartbeat of this intersection is government workers, and in a post-pandemic world, we just aren't seeing that critical...
