Something just hit me when looking at the Dubai Yan towers. It was like a slap in the face. The profile reminds me of what first canadian centre tower 2 ended up looking like after we completed design with an architect from Uruguay, way back.(Intentionally left nameless). Now I will go seek...

I believe it is Zeidler Architecture who are the designers, that's about all I know.

I just viewed a virtual tour of some of the units in the Gaurdian towers. I have to say, pretty impressive. From an architectural point of view, I think the towers are arguably the most well articulated towers in Calgary. I was looking at some of the listings, gulp.

Someone at some point mentioned a land use application for 9a street and 1st Av in Bridgeland. I couldn't find it, but this was a proposal for that site we did in the past. It was a design in progress. Anyway. Needed a little more development, and refinement. I have the plans somewhere
