They've been doing some work along Jopling this past week. Appears to be the installation of underground lines but I'm not too sure.

Just noticed this past week that they have now boarded up all the houses along Jopling...maybe this is finally moving ahead soon?

I completely agree with this! They should expanding the streetcar from the Humber Loop across the Queensway to Sherway, or at the very least a middle bus lane like the Viva in York Region that can later be transformed into a streetcar or rapid transit.

Hope this project happens. This is a great stretch on Dundas that has so much potential to be like a King or Queen Street.

I hope they also have plans to improve some of the infrastructure in the area. Unfortunately, the majority of residents in the area drive and with no walkable TTC station or bus loop in the area; thousands of people coming in and out of a two lane Royal York Road is giving me pre-anxiety for...

Good to see this on Dundas West in the heart of soon to be "downtown Etobicoke" There is so much opportunity for density and revitalization in the neighbourhood. With the Six Points plaza nearby slated for demolition for condos, fingers crossed some good retail comes to the area.
